The monthly English Comedy Club is back from summer holiday! We wrote new jokes, picked berries, and spent entire too much time in Amsterdam. The first half of 2010 was an absolute riot. We brought in top comedians from Europe, sold out shows, and sent every audience member home in stitches. And we guarantee the second half will be even better!! +37C degrees in July? Can this month get any hotter? Oh yes it can...!... TOMI WALAMIES (Finland) August kicks off with a very special guest (not "special" as in "retarded"), comedian Tomi Walamies!! No stranger to the English Comedy Club, he often pops in to perform a few minutes, but this time we've pulled him in for a full headlining set! Performing throughout Europe, he's truly one of the funniest comics in Finland. NICKOLAY ANTONOV (Russia) He looks Russian, sounds American, he just got out of the Finnish army, and according to Wikipedia 'Nikolay Antonov' is a "Retired Bulgarian Athlete who won the 200m sprint in 1991" - but according to us he's a really funny Ruskie. TONI JYVÄLÄ (Finland) We saw him at the English Comedy Club last August when absolutely tore down the house. The young Finnish comic is back to try and repeat his success! PHIL SCHWARZMANN (USA) Phil Schwarzmann is extremely good-looking, insanely funny, totally likable, very handsome, and the one writing this text. He's looking forward to trying some new dick jokes and airplane observations. LOUIS ZEZERAN (Australia) The hostess with the mostess, this zaney Australian will your MC for the night. He drinks Foster's, yells "Crikey!", and will lead you to believe you have an uncle named Bob.
